Ms Ivy E Lonnen
Ivy E Lonnen has devoted herself to the art of dance for the past 20 years, studying extensively in the Cecchetti method & Russian style of ballet & later adding neoclassical to her repertoire as well as tap, jazz, modern & Contemporary. Ivy has had the honor of training under the late Jeanne Benson-Smith, Amy Alicea, Rachel Franchi of the Charlotte Youth Ballet, Peter Stark of the Patel Conservatory, Kim Tuttle of Dance Alive as well as Sheila Routolo, Chester Anderson, Tom Barber and many others. During her career, Ivy has performed in various ballet productions including, The Stone Flower, Le Corsaire, The Nutcracker & Sleeping Beauty, where she danced many soloist roles. In 2006 Ivy was chosen as a backup dancer for Latin pop star, Lourdes Robles’ special concert for Latin awareness and culture. Ivy joined the staff of Extensions Dance Studio in 2009, where she has enjoyed promoting the art of dance to her students through classroom instruction & as the Artistic Director of the Ocala Ballet Theater.
